Ratafia Ploughs Through The Mud to Win

Ratafia got off the mark at the 16th attempt when he ploughed through the mud at a sodden Redcar.

Slowly away,  Joanna Mason bustled Ratafia along in the early stages , the horse responded and took the lead at the furlong and won going away by just over a length.

Well done to all concerned. That's 22 winners for the year.
