We are truly gutted to let our followers know that Duke Cosimo has died, he did not suffer and had been enjoying himself with his pals in the field.

His finest hour for us was winning the 'Directors Cup' in June 2016 at Ripon. He won 4 more races for us and numerous placings and was the most lovely, easy good natured horse to have about the place, a real yard favourite, we will miss him dearly.

Having picked up an injury at Musselburgh last September we had no option but to retire him, although we had been planning his retirement last year. We were hoping he would be able to keep us company for a good while in retirement, but that wasnt to be. RIPDuke you were the best x
