Maharashta (Jimmy) Breaks His Maiden Tag

Maharashta rewarded his connections patience by winning his first race at Chelmsford tonight, the popular home bred who started life off in bumpers and has a mind of his own was given a superb ride by Tom Eaves. Held up in the rear he came with a well timed run to lead close home. Well done to owners Nick Baines and Helen Lloyd-Herrington. The Herrington team were only just denied a quick fire double when Bay of Naples was edged out in a photo finish in the very next race.
